In the beginning.....

Welcome to my blog! I shall use the rest of this year as an introduction to life at the Chateau and post some before and after photos of things like the veg patch, plus wildlife pics during our 7 years here. Then next year I will try to use the blog properly. The idea is to use this as a record for me but if anyone else enjoys the photos and any of my future blatherings, all well and good :-)

  7. Quite extraordinary.

Far better than anything I can produce, and I am supposed to be able to play with technology thingies.

Well done, clearly got to much time on your hands though.

  9. Thanks for all your comments everyone :-)

Stuart - it's easy to get started - you just pick a template that you like and then you can fiddle about with it - I have not got to figuring that bit out much yet as I'd like to change a few things and can't work out how to.

As for too much time on my hands, it's winter, I have worked my butt off the last 9 months in the garden, need a rest and even more importantly, I need a new project to ward off SAD syndrome. Far better to sit at my computer doing something positive than vegging in a corner feeling depressed, don't you think?
