Most of the images apart from the last two which are of Valerian, are in a patch of my lawn which we've left unmown so that the wild flowers have a chance to flower for the benefit of the butterflies and bees, and other little critters. The majority of
I was amazed at how quickly the light changed in just the 10-15 minutes I was outside with my camera. Easy to understand why Monet was so fascinated by the same subject under different light!
Still have family here and our weather is set to be hot and sunny for the next 5 days so am going to make the most of it. Normal blogging will be resumed in about 10 days..... Take care all!
Beautiful photographs as ever Mandy. We have the self same heavy dewy mornings here at the moment, there is something very special about them isn't there. Reminds me Autumn is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteHi Ladybug! As I said in the comment below, this seemed to be a one-off because it's horribly dry here and I'm out watering every evening which is so tiresome. Yet I want this weather to continue..... :-) I just can't win! Thanks very much for looking and commenting.
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous images, Mandy! (We have no dew to speak of here in the Desert so I'm envious) I love that you let your lawn go so we can enjoy your wildflowers too :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Marianne! We'd had a bit of rain a few days before so that's probably why we had some dew but the garden is really dry and barely any dew since. Soon as I see dew and sun again I'm getting out there properly to get close up to all those floral reflections I saw in the dewdrops. I couldn't get close because I was still in my dressing gown and was trying not to get it wet!!
DeleteI will look at your blog tomorrow as I noticed you have updated but I am not getting much computer time right now and have signed out of G+ for the next 10 days, curating and all. I really needed a break and my mum and brother being here was a great excuse! :-)
Oh and thank you!!!
DeleteYou're very welcome, Mandy. Enjoy your family :-)
